This is a thoroughly inspected refurbished defibrillator. The AED Outlet has verified it passes its operational self-checks. We have verified there are no outstanding corrective actions pending on each unit. We will include a fresh set of adult electrode pads and battery (no aftermarket products), unless you wish to purchase the unit only. Includes 3-year AED Outlet warranty.
The Philips HeartStart Onsite is the first commercial defibrillator available without a prescription, and was made for the “ordinary person in the extraordinary moment.” Based on extensive research and user feedback, the Onsite was designed to be the easiest to use and most reliable defibrillator available.
During a rescue situation, the responder pulls the green handle, which activates the defibrillator, releases the electrode pads, and begins the voice instructions, which guide the rescuer through the entire event, from placing the electrodes to delivering the treatment to CPR coaching (if desired).
Automatic daily, weekly, monthly self-tests check the battery, electrical components and subsystems, as well as checking that the pads cartridge is installed and in working order. The blinking green status indicator shows that the Onsite has passed its last self-test and is ready for use.
