The HeartSine samaritan PAD AED is the smallest and lightest model available today and very durable. It really stands out as the most portable AED you'll find. This is an earlier model samaritan PAD AED which means the only difference between it and the current model is the lack of pediatric capability. If you don't need a pediatric solution, this device may be for you.
This AED uses a unique electrode pad and battery combo cartridge called a PAD-PAK which makes care and maintenance of the samaritan PAD a snap. There's only one expiration date to follow. Once you've used the samaritan PAD AED, eject the used PAD-PAK, snap a new one in, and it's ready to go again.
The HeartSine samaritan PAD's voice prompts are detailed and easy-to-follow. It also has a metronome that assists you with the timing of chest compressions during the CPR phase.
The high moisture and particulate resistance rating (or "IP" Rating") attest to this AEDs durability and wide range of applications. It's great for deployment indoors or out.
